I know this has probably been addressed before but I am unable to find a pertinent example.

Under Options/file locations/document templates, the following keeps coming back:

C:\Users\xxxxxx\app data\local\temp\SOLIDWORKS PDM

We do not want local templates used, only those in the vault. So I set it up to this.

I go to Default Templates, set these to the correct files, Close, file/exit SW.

Open SW then select New Document, the templates in the SW local install location are listed.

Back into options and the above C:\Users.... location is listed again under document locations.again, this location is empty, nothing to delete or rename.

Also, files have populated in the vault view. I can see them in windows explorer as they are repopulated when I hit the "new document" icon

This has been a source of frustration for a few years, recently updated to win 10, reinstalled SW (still on 2017 pending 2019 on server upgrade) and no change so must be something I am doing/not doing?
