Split a face - How to? | SOLIDWORKS Forums

I have a face that I need to split to reverse draft on one portion. What are the steps required to do this? I created a 3-D sketch with a line that bisects the face where I need to split it. I created an offset surface of 0.000 and trimmed it to the split line. I did this a second time keeping the opposite side of the surface. I now have two surfaces, one of which I intend to reverse draft. I am stuck at this point.

Any help would be appreciated. I can post the part if it would help.
