I have generated an equation curve successfully and have full control over the profile sweep function. The problem I am having is that the t1 = 0 and the t2 = 3*2*pi are not starting at the UCS origin x=0, y=0, z=0. How do I correct this?
Forgot to mention this before..
Make your curve in a part by itself and then insert it into another part. You can use move copy bodies to put it anywhere you want
You can constrain the curve to the origin in your sketch..
Unfortunately, no. After generating the helix curve beginning at t1 = 0 and t2 = 3*(2*pi), the curve is offset in all three dimensions?
Offset from origin X = 1.10 in, Y = .01 in, Z = .01 in???
Could you post the equation so I could try?

Yes its a strange one.
I got it to all go black by adding an unattached line tangent to an endpoint
deleting the line - the curve goes blue
pretty nuts really - I mean the line isn't even attached to anything
I guess thats 3d sketches for you.
Still the endpoints are black and it doesn't move anywhere.
As it turns out by creating a completely new 3D equation generated a curve with the same equations and start and end point the curve aligned appropriately!
I did, however, apply a construction line as you did to the endpoints to prevent any potential shift while completing any further geometry. Good deal! Thank you for the feedback. I will continue to monitor this forum and share any further challenges I run up against. Great Work!
I noticed the same thing too.
The first time I tried the curve moved and I couldn't get it back...
So I redid it and saved the part before I attempted any constraints,, so I could reload.
