I do a lot of trim die design and most of the parts do not have a planar parting line. It would be very helpful if the parting line could be converted to sketch entities on a plane but I don't know if that is possible. Can anyone confirm this? The sketch in the picture was created by converting the edges of the part one by one which can be very tedious and difficult to generate a contiguous sketch. It would be so much easier to just select the parting line and click convert.
