Mirrored feature changes position with "OK" check

Hi everyone,

I'm doing holes in a plate. I cavitated one hole, did a sketch driven pattern with 2 points and mirrored it with right plane to get total of 4 holes in the upper half of the plate. When I try to mirror it again for the bottom half of the plate, the mirror preview looks ok, but when I click OK, 2 of the 4 mirrored holes change position in the bottom half. It's not a big deal, I can do it without the mirror, but I'd like to know if someone could explain what's happening?

If you're doing a exact mirror then I would cut the body in half and use the mirror "Bodies" feature - unless you are using the Hole Wizard Feature. If you are using the Hole Wizard you can add a Construction Center Line in the Hole Wizard Placement Sketch...

  There are other features in the plate which are not symmetrical, so I can't mirror the whole body. I noticed that the placement is correct if I pick faces instead of features, but I'm still wondering why it changes the placement of 2 holes if I try to mirror features.

I deleted the Sketch-Pattern and both mirrors and added them again it looks ok...

Kari Lindberg - I hope you don't mind me asking a question.... But there are a few sketches that have lost their relations... see any sketches with a - ? - will that affect your part later if those features don't update correctly.

  Oh no worries, it's just references in the original assembly. I saved the part outside the assembly to make sure I'm uploading the right file.
