I've been working on creating a mold for one of my teachers, and I'm wondering if it's possible to code an iterative process in solidworks. I'm trying to create a cast around a spinal cord MRI image and I'm doing this by splitting the image into tiny portions, offsetting the flat surfaces by 5 mm and 8 mm on each side, and creating a solid from those drawings. So far, it's been a good model for us, but I want to get the outside boundaries more uniform from the spinal cord image. Is it possible to write some code in solidworks that can preform this process in infinitesimally small sizes and stitch them together to create a larger, more uniform model? I've attached a few images to help get an idea of the project; One is the segments I've already created and printed out, one is an example of one of the segments, and the last is the full spinal cord image with the planes I created to split it into segments.
