How to get the "where used" reference

Hi All.

I'd like to know if there is a way to get the reference that a drawing file makes to a part. At the moment we have the following situation:

Drawings are in enterprise PDM but have the wrong names. They all need to be renamed.

They need to be called the same name as the part file which they are drawn from.

So my question is: Is there a way to find this reference in PDM without using Solidworks to open the drawing, and then calling the IView::ReferencedDocument method?

This would be much faster than having to open solidworks / open the drawing / find reference, close sw / rename drawing.

Thanks y'all

Edit: Not sure if this should rather belong in the API section of the forum?
