Our company is in the process of splitting and someone at corporate set up a new SW license server for our half of the company. They assured me last week that it is "the latest version" but didn't answer my question of what version they installed. Yesterday I updated from SW2016 SP05 to SW2019 SP01 and when I try to run it I get "FLEXlm version of the client is newer than the server. (-83.147.0)". Since I was unable to get the server administrators to tell me what version they're running, is there any way to find this out from the client side? I didn't see anything in the License Manager Client.

This is actually a recurring problem because the license server is 100's of miles away run by people we don't know personally and the server group seems to have some turnover. So any time a new version of SW is released it's a struggle for us users to know what version our licensing will allow and it can take days or weeks to find the right person who can answer the question. Having a way to find out what version of SW the license server supports from the client side would be really nice.
