Is it possible to render by part only in an assembly. So for example, if I have the assembly open and it has 5 parts in it, is it possible to only render part 3?

Hi Philip,
Best option is to hide the other parts as suggested by Paul. You could create display states for each part, hiding the others and rendering each part individually.
However, depending on the composition you want to go for, another approach could be to make a new display state and assign a clear material to the parts of non-interest. Downside to this would be longer render times.
Alternatively assign a white matt finish to the non-interest parts, focusing on the main part - faster render times.
lots of options, hope this helps.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I suppose my reason behind the question is that when I'm doing technical documentation, having a feature like this can help a part to stand out. I know this can be achieved in SolidWorks Composer. Just wondering if it was possible by rendering in 360 also. So for example, in the images below, it would be neat if I could select the vacuum generator & End of Arm Tooling for rendering only. I can do it partially be changing the display style individually in the feature manager tree. But I suppose the way rendering works is that it focuses on areas to render instead of individual parts?
Hello Philip,.. the easy way, on your open assembly, click on the part (or in the menu), and RMB (right mouse button, dropdown menu appears), select "Isolate".. and render.
..or, again, click on the part, RMB and Invert and Hide all the other components.
..or create a Display State and use the Invert/Hidden for each Display State.
