I worked at one company that had a dedicated computer that auto-created PDFs to populate an archive. Is this a specialty program, or is there some generic program that I can get for my company to use?

#TASK by Central Innovation is a program you can use to automate the creation of PDFs.

@Peter Kennedy - Not exactly that. Basically it was a program that was always running on that computer, and had a queue that people sent their SW files into. It not only made a PDF from them, but filed it in specific folder. It basically controlled the archive of drawings for the company.
@Jonathan Albert - That looks promising, will have to look more into that.
I'm assuming automate PDF creation of a drawing? I wrote a macro that saves a PDF copy with the click of a button. For automatic PDF creation you might want to look at PDM Professional.
