Sometimes I try to delete a SW part or assembly file. There
are NO files open in SW at all. But, Windows will complain that it
cannot delete because it is in use by a program. If I quit SW, then
I can delete the file.
It is not consistent enough of a problem for me to nail down if this inability to delete the file is just a transitory thing. But it does last more than a minute or two.
Notes; Files are all on a network server. I normally crash 2 or 3 times a say, and so leave behind all the ~ files.
Is it that SW is not telling Windows that it has released the file? Is it that Windows itself is just taking a long time to catch up with the SW program's status?
