In SW2018 you could insert a bounding box and have it suppressed and it would still update whenever you changed sizes on a part. It was changed in 2019 so that the bounding box would need to be shown and un-suppressed in order to update to new sizes.

I would always suppress the bounding box so when I made a 2D drawing of my assemblies, the bounding boxes would not be shown. Also, even if you hide the bounding boxes using the little eye icon, they will all re-appear upon reloading the assembly after closing out of SolidWorks.

I have hundreds of assemblies that need to be updated in order to fix their BOM because the bounding boxes on all of the components isn't being read anymore because the bounding box is suppressed. All of the cells that would display overall L x W x H are now displaying 0 x 0 x 0.

Is there any way to get the bounding box to work the same way it used to in 2018? Or in a way where it will not ever show up in 3D or 2D while still being un-suppressed?
