Hi everyone,

I modeled a weldment as a multi-body part and made a drawing with the complete weldment on one sheet, and only one body that needs machining on a second sheet. For the first sheet, I found it easy to display the part weight in the title block by linking to the mass property of the part file. But on the second sheet, the weight still displays the value for the entire weldment and not just the body/bodies shown on that sheet.

Is it possible to link the weight field in the title block in a way that it only shows the weight of the bodies selected and shown on that particular sheet? Can this be done with a macro? I am not familiar with macros at all. Or does it have to be manually evaluated and typed in, which we all know is time consuming and error prone.

Hopefully, if it can be linked, it can be applied to any multi-body part and not strictly weldments.
