Not able to extrude cut offset from surface in a particular segment of the model.
Please see image for the area needed to be modified.

Your requirement is not clear enough. Not only that part is away from the origin point. This is not the way do things.
I'll fix the origin point later on. Just doing some practice first. If you see Cut-extrude9, i'm trying to implement a cut extrude with the same parameters on the highlighted region. I'm using the Pls sketch as a reference to use as underlying sketch for doing the extrude cut.
I hope this makes it clear what i'm trying to achieve.
You can achieve your goal with Lofted Cut. Create two sketches at both end of your section and create a path base on your desire.
I have created some sample sketches close to what I supposed you need, just create a path and connect them together.

Thanks. I'll try it out. But why exactly does it give an error with cut extrude ? I'm following another model to achieve this design, but can't get the flanges to work.
I also tried surface cut, but that also gave an error. See attached example which will help to understand what i'm trying to achieve. I also want to achieve a constant thickness from bottom surface of the profile to top as 1.34", but with a spline i'm not able to do that. Any ideas?
Wow! That'll work. I'm wondering how i could make shell command work on this rather than the last three steps of surface cut ?
I mean this will work pretty well.
A couple of things i still need to add on this, radius along all the edges, draft of 2 degrees. This piece will be vacuum formed as you should be able to make out from the model itself.
..glad it helped Rohit!... so, like you, I wanted to Shell with 0.09".. and it failed? (it should work?).. so, without investigating further,. I just offsetted/extend/cut... and, I looked at it again.. it should shell!... but does not?... the workaround is... change the value to "0.0901" or "0.090001in"... yep,.. that'll work! (crazy) (image attached)
I tried the loft cut. It works but getting variable flange thickness. Will look more into this.
