Should I design bolt or use bolt connector for bolt failure?

I want to perform a simulation on this assembly. There is a bolt in the specified area (and the pin is supposed to have threads, matching the bolt).

There will be bearing supports on bushes (pin will spin inside bearings).

Problem Conditions:

1. Dynamic process (teacher mentioned "explicit dynamics" which I don't know what exactly it is )

2. Considering Large displacement

3. 36NM pre-load torque on bolt

Things that I'm asked to answer:

1. bolt stresses

2. will bolt get to failure condition under specific forces and torques (and to find out where the failure exactly happen)

Now I want to know if I should design bolt (with exact threads) and also create threads on the pin hole, or I can just use bolt connector in simulation.
