I've changed jobs and need to update my email in my profile for new employer. This is not a field I can edit in my profile. How do I change this?
You need to log into your customer portal.
I can't. Because of the job change, I can no longer log into the customer portal for the old job.
I believe your account is not deleted in portal, so if you had a login and psswd you should still be able to get there, but it would no longer be connected to a VAR account or serial number if they remembered to login to their portal and request you be removed.
You will need to contact the reseller for the company you worked for and have them change it for you.
Otherwise SolidWorks suggest that you just create a new account.
They didn't seem to think about the desire to stay connected to your past history on the forum and stuff like that. I had to recently have my email changed, so I had it changed to a personal email, so it was not blocked by a job change in the future. When you change jobs you can't get email at the new company until you start, but you can't get verification emails at the old company after you quit, so it is hard to change it.
