So we are going to be transitioning from PTC Creo to Solidworks. We have a lot of legacy data in Creo that we will be adding to PDM Professional. We will no longer be maintaining those files in Windchill (PTC's version of PDM). We don't have PDM up and running yet so for now, we are exporting from Windchill to a network drive and using 3D Interconnect to add the native Creo file in the SW assembly. That is until we get the time or need to recreate them in SW.
Anyways, in Creo, they use family tables instead of configurations. However, when the family table is exported, it only takes the generic and not any other instances of it. Has anyone dealt with using Creo files with 3D Interconnect? And if so, any experience with using the family tables in 3D Interconnect?
We are using Solidworks 2017.
