Can my dimension text be red, and my extension and dimension lines be grey?
This method only works after a drawing has been fully dimensioned:
Set your Dimension Layer color to gray
Press F5 to pull up your filters and turn on the Dimension filter
Press Ctrl+A to select all Dimensions
Paste this into the Dimension Text Box: <FONT color =0x000000ff><DIM>
Edit: I just remembered you can also save the above as a Dim Style and use it while dimensioning, no need to do it afterwards!
As far as I know, no.
You can have your dimensions in a different layer and there for colour but there's no setting to put the text of your dim on a different layer or even in a different colour then the dimension lines itself.
You could do it, but as far as I know only with a tedious workaround that would have to be repeated individually for each dimension. Let me know if you want me to explain.
We have moved from tedious, messy dimensions to eye popping depth with your support!
