Why doesn't the API help have a section that clearly lists events associated with solidworks? It seems like finding an event is way harder than it should be....
They do, just not all in the same place. The easiest way to get to them is to search for D<event source> where <event source> is one of the objects that can generate events. There are only 10 of them, and you can quickly see them by searching for 'Events':
Once you have this list, just replace the 'I' with a 'D' and search for that:

The layout change had something to do with standardizing the format to match Microsoft's format/organization/something. Whatever the reason, I think it sucked but apparently for people who know what they're doing it's better.
