Hi all,

Just a quick question as to whether a solidworks license is linked to a computer or to someones name or both.

The company I work for provided (what seems like) a standalone copy of solidworks with the PC.

I want to buy it and the computer off the owner of the company.

Will I need any documentation signed from him to say that I am now the owner?

Just curious, havent been able to find anything online apart from how to deactivate and re-activate licenses.
