In the past, I had a little bit of a struggle with the carry over from part to drawing, where the part templates were set to 3-decimal precision, but would come into the bill of materials with 2-decimals. I alleviated that error by matching both part and drawing document to 3-dec precision in the overall settings. I then saved that setting standard and load it into all of my projects.

Well now, seemingly out of nowhere - the problem has returned.

Interestingly enough, I did spot a difference in the part settings vs the drawing settings, and I'm wondering - what gives?

The part screen is showing 3-decimal precison, and everything on the page has followed accordingly.

The drawing screen, however, is set to 3-decimal precision - but the other numbers on the page are at 2-dec precision. I attempted to change them manually, and they just reset themselves to 2-dec.
