It's that time again! As we've done every year since 2012, the savviest CAD Monkeys in town for SOLIDWORKS World 2019 will be meeting for a night of food and fun in one of our host city's hottest locations. It's become the unofficial kick-off to SOLIDWORKS World – a time when the community can take in the city’s sights and tastes before the conference gets underway.

Since the first event eight years ago – when a handful of SOLIDWORKS gurus kicked off the tradition at the Hard Rock Café in San Diego – this gathering has exploded in popularity. Dozens of CAD Monkeys have consistently taken over local hotspots, from Alice Cooperstown in Phoenix to the Tom's Urban in LA – with attendance rising every year. This year is sure to be even bigger, and the venue is the perfect setting for over a hundred passionate SOLIDWORKS users to let loose before an intense week of learning.

On Saturday, February 9th at 7:00pm, we'll be taking over all of the Vetted Well, inside the iconic Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas. CAD Monkeys in attendance will have access to the Well's entire lineup of drafts, a buffet spread, the venue's two picturesque rooftop decks and four karaoke rooms! In addition to all this entertainment, we'll also be providing raffle prizes and multiplayer video games like Mario Kart on their giant 30-foot outdoor screen!

This huge event is being supported this year by some very generous sponsors, who will be on-hand at the event to discuss their products and services and answer any questions you might have. Take a look at the list below to see who will be joining us!

This event could be one of the largest community-sponsored SOLIDWORKS events ever, and the networking opportunities are invaluable. If you’re planning to arrive in Dallas by Saturday night, you won’t want to miss this'll gathering. If you can’t be there, please help to spread the word by forwarding this message to your colleagues, user group members, or anyone else who may be attending SOLIDWORKS World 2019.

See you in Dallas, Monkeys!
