You better add the file and screenshot.
So people who want to help give faster answers.
How can I attach a file to a forum post?
thank you omur for such a good suggestion.
Just a wild guess here on the limited information you've supplied but I'm betting it's because of a minimum arc or radius within the surface somewhere won't allow a thickness of 2mm................
It could be a number of things really though..........
yeah buddy (DAVE)
this is complex shape car. and exactly it has plethora of small curvatures.problem is ... it is 1/24 scale model and i wanna give it 2mm thickness which resulting in odd offsetting problems.i just wanna know how can i get any method some how it automatically generate the fit results or adjust the thickness.thank you.
One property that affects surfaces thickness is minimum radius. If specified thickness is more than minimum radius it'll result in self intersecting geometry and fails. Use "check entity" tool [search for "check" in SW] to know the minimum radius and apply thickness accordingly.
Looks awesome, very nice!
