My client uses a Mac and when she tries to download the edrawing installer, it tells her that is not available in the US.
Scrap the MAC.
Is she going here and selecting the Mac install?
Yes, that is the site she is going to. Which in turn, takes one to the Mac App store for the download.
Well then....Another option might be to contact them.....
Outside of that, you have reached the limit of my knowledge regarding this......sorry... I hope that someone else can post.
Do you have a screenshot of the error? I've never heard of a 'not available in US' error code.. Is it referring to install language?
I helped someone with this issue once, but it was a permissions issues. Took me 4x as long to figure out how to do it on a MAC, but it was the same things as user account control in Windows.
Okay, here's what my VAR had to say,
"I got a response from SolidWorks. Unfortunately there hasn't been an eDrawings Version for Mac in several years. I'm not sure what the latest available version was, but you won't be able to open 2018 files on a Mac."
So, to those at SolidWorks that may or may not being monitoring this thread, my client is SERIOUSLY FRAKING PISSED! A good deal of my clients use Apple Mac products and now, I'm going to have to explain to them that we will have to stick with 3D PDFs. The other option is they get an Onshape or Autodesk account and do the file upload dance. Frankly, it's FALSE ADVERTISING. Some of you may laugh at this whole thing but to me, it's not funny.
If you are using SOLIDWORKS 2019 you can save the file as a html which is then available to view in a browser as a functional eDrawings

Found the problem. The link on the edrawingsviewer.com site for the Mac app store is wrong. It takes you to the British version of Mac app store. I notified the VAR to tell the SW webmaster correct this issue. They (VAR) was very apologetic that someone at SW HQ told them that it won't work with 2018 files.
