Just upgraded from 2014 to 2017.  Upon opening one assembly, I noticed a couple of odd things:

1.  The rebuild icon is greyed out.

2.  The "View Settings" drop down menu only has the "Cartoon" option.  No perspective, no real view, etc.

Another assembly opened fine, but w/ a pop-up requesting that I rebuild.
