You need to "Extend" your sketch "Past" the Bolt Blank, the out edge of your sketch is right at the edge of the Bolt Blank and it's leaving just a sliver of material...
Yup that's was I did it...and modify the order of operations...

Trying to do it now, on my 2015 SW....you have the newer, heard can do threads immediately, cool.
It doesn't matter what version you have, you still need to design your "Cut Profile" to not overlap and you also need to extend the sketch beyond the body...
no, the thread profile does not need to extend outside of the shaft. at least for constant helical cuts - the variable bit may be cause extra twisting.

Where I learned it from is from this YouTube video, seemed to me the diameter of the bolt and the profile are the same.

Hi all,
I managed to do it, but still didn't understand what were the messages on "bodies to keep" etc. Reminded me when I had a circular pattern and I had to check merge bodies and I don't think it was an option here so didn't get why the "keep bodies" thing showed up.
In any ways, I'd like to THANK YOU ALL for being so wonderful, G_D bless you,

I do not know whether I am correct but it seems this sketch is going to do two jobs:
-Cutting a thread
-Going to reduce the final diameter of the screw.
Why can’t you decide the diameter of the screw and simplified the sketch.

If I reduce the vertical dimension (on the right) smaller than the pitch of the helix/screw, the initial diameter of the screw will remain.

You have many lines overlapping over a line. This is also an issue. Video is attached

You need to change your sketch Cut Profile or make the Helix Pitch a little bigger - the sketch overlaps
