Tried voting for RD allocation and saw this:
Which administrator do I contact?
I tried different browsers. Any ideas?
I had to restart my computer then when it booted up go straight and vote. They put a firewall restriction on my computer and that is the only way I could beat the system.
I don't get an error ... just no way to vote
The same happens to me.
I cannot vote Ideas.

Matthew Lorono can probably help.
Danny, I tried your fix, no go. Guess I'll go talk to the IT guy.

According to Matthew Lorono - You need to vote on the RD Allocation before you can Vote on the Top Ten List
Is that right Matthew????
Talk to your IT or to Matthew Lorono
This happened to me to... I just tried again and it worked
Did you do the RD Allocation?
R&D resources are what I was trying to vote on...
Sorry, saw that after I posted
I just went and changed my vote and it worked.
Try another browser?
Logout and login again?
Worse case, clear browser cache.
Hi, I tried but always happened the error of "Something went wrong. Please contact administrator."
I tried in Explorer and Chrome and in both I had the same error.
Might need to clear browsing data and restart and go straight there to make happen.
So where do I find that RD allocation one ?
Because one can't vote on anything else unless one does that one but I can't see where I could find that one to begin with.

This site should do it: SOLIDWORKS World 2019 Top Ten List
Peter, its on the Top Ten Page:
I heard that this year it is necessary to have an actual subscription to have ability to vote.
Don't think so.
No license on this account
You are lucky, I have a license but my boss didn't pay maintanance fee, so I can't vote, only write ideas
Don't think I'm lucky.
Can you remove the serial number from your account?
You got me thinking, I can vote twice
I have so many people telling me that they cannot vote as well...
So if one doesn't get the actual link handed then one has to go and search for it, if one knows that the search terms should be'top ten page'
which takes one to :
where one then is supposed toknow to click on the first available link
SOLIDWORKS World 2019 Top Ten List
where one then has to figure out to click on the banner on top of the page
to finally get to the REQUIRED item to vote on
BEFORE one can actually vote on any of the suggestions
Am I the only one that finds that a bit rich?
How the heck is one supposed to find that if one isn't 24/7 on the forum?
Is it a sneaky way to avoid having people actually vote on anything or what ?
Thank you for pointing that out.
The fact remains how one is supposed to know exactly that one is supposed to go to that link so as to be able to vote on an item that isn't one of the proposed ideas? Put yourself in the shoes of someone that only occasionally visits or is even a new user. Is expecting that one click on each link really the best user experience they could come up with?
I frequent the forum often and I must admit I didn't see that link on the left side because I don't have the tendency to re-read every link in a column that normally only has links that don't change. Now I know that every year around this time, they add a link, briefly mind you, that gets removed after the voting because it's no one's business to keep track of what actually got voted as the top 10.
Have you entered a comment under your R&D allocation vote? I did, and when I used quotation marks " in the comment it returned that error message. Deleted the marks and all good.
