OK... here's the result of my troubleshooting...
This is happening pretty regularly on multiple machines...
A part is examined using the DFM wizard; the analysis completes fine, and a small tree of pass/fail elements is created.
However
If a 'failed' element is clicked on, SW will freeze for about 5 seconds, then disappear entirely.
What I have found, though, is that if I suppress all holes created with the hole wizard, then the DFM wizard will work fine.

SW crashes and automatically launches 'SolidWorks Rx'; after creating a nice little zip file, it says "Send this file to your technical support representative", along with a link to "Click here to contact tech support".
When I "click here", I get a web page like this, whether in Firefox, Opera, Chrome, IE, or Safari :
