When editing a column on a drawing I want to stack the numbers vertically as such:
However, when I press enter to form a new row it just exits the edit. How can I get it to form a new row instead of exiting the edit?
Are you attempting to do it in a single cell? You can hold down the CTRL key while pressing enter to create a return within a single cell. Unless you are talking about adding an additional row automatically?
maybe post an image of what you are seeing.
When using enter to complete the edit, the selection then automatically moves to the next space in the same column. You should be able to just start typing without any additional selections to edit the value and press enter again to go to the next.
Thank you for your response. My wish is not to complete to edit. It is to continue making editing but to down a line. i.e:

2. Solidworks forums are very helpful
3. All help is appreciated.
4. Let's get it done together.
As you can see the numbers are stacked vertically instead of this:
1. Hi Newell, how are you? 2. Solidworks forums are very helpful 3. All help is appreciated. 4.Let's get it done together.
Sorry for not being clear earlier.
CTRL + Enter did the trick. Thanks Newell
Like Newell Voss, I apparently misunderstood. I assumed you were referring to working in a table in a Solidworks Drawing. Is that not the case? Is it in a Note, or something else?
