I am wondering why every time a update my sheet format, it makes another file to choose from at the bottom (highlighted)
I have 2 sheet formats that I use to update older drawings. (gsp std-a & gsp std-a_Update)
I created these by copying the drawing template file (.drwdot) and pasting in folder where the sheet formats are. I change file extension to .slddrt
I update the drawing template every once in awhile and have no problems overwriting the old file.
But when I create a new sheet format, I get another file as shown below.
It doesn't seem to be hurting anything, just are annoying and would like to get rid of them.
Solidworks Standard 2018 SP5
Thanks everyone in advance.
It may have something to do with the way you're saving your sheet formats. I've never heard of saving drawing templates and then changing the file extension. Instead, when you want to save a sheet format go to File > Save Sheet Format... and save it directly.
What's the difference between a sheet format and drawing template? may also be of some help.
