Can anyone recommend any good tutorials I can do whilst being stuck in hospital? Preferably something fun like cars or boats etc that I can get some good renders from.
Solidproffesor - has some in depth rendering stuff
SolidProfessor | Learn Engineering | Self-paced CAD, CAM, & BIM Training Courses
Lynda.com - lots of stuff, maybe not so "fun"
Forgot to say - get well soon, and all the best! No fun being stuck in hospital....
Some good free and paid tutorials: Chopper, Yacht, Aston Martin
So great to see you in the forums right now!
I hope things are going as well as can be expected and I send you my very best wishes and thoughts.
As for something to do, did you ever do the SS Camaro tutorial (surfacing) that seemed to be quite common a few years back? A few people have done nice renders of that completed model. I also know that if you look deep enough there are step-by-step tutorials for very many things on GrabCAD: also.
All the very best to you Greg,
Thanks all, will have a look through all these and see what I can find.
Dave, thanks for the message, back into hospital tomorrow for 6 days of treatment. Been tough.

I know it hasn't been easy mate, but just keep chipping away at it one day at a time.
Distraction, determination and dedication are your best friends, but never Desperation.
We're all here for you Champ!
I recommend https://www.linkedin.com/learning/ was Lynda.com.
As Chad mentioned it may not be fun but it is informative and there is loads of content for Solidworks. This is also a great place if your looking to expand your skills in other areas which could relate to your work.
Good luck with your treatment, wishing you all the best.
I have a 2.5gb training video.
Give me an e-mail address.
I can send with Google driver.
Maybe it'il help.
stuck? I had no idea that one could get bogged down there. I hope that it is nothing to serious and that you will make it back to your home soon.
