I am attempting to design, tune and simulate an ultrasonic horn ( Sonotrode)
for the purpose of vibrating a material for enhanced compaction.
How is solidworks frequency response used to simulate and display the
natural frequencies of the horn to match the transducer?
also is there a tutorial explaining the vairous options and how they are used
i.e. plotting graphs, stresses, displacements.
up to now I have produced the response below however am unsure about the mode numbers
meaning and how to proceed.
Are you asking how you would go about doing it? Or what calculations are happening in the background of Solidworks to calculate the natural frequency and different modes?
