I need the leader be attached to the center of the slot.

Something that will be changed according to the size of the slot.
I know there are ways to link the note to the size, but I prefer it to be my last option.
I can't understand why SW has so many problems with slots.
When I try to pattern a slot, the pattern is not center to center.

If there's no other suggestion, I think I have to go with notes.
I frequently use a Note to call out slot dimensions, but it does update if the slot size is edited. First I dimension the slot,...
...then start a Note. When I get to the point in the Note where I want the dimension I click on the dimension to add that value in the Note (the software will add a space in front of and behind the value).
Add the other dimension, then Ctrl+select the dimensions and right-click to Hide them.
Again, by using this method if the slot is edited in the model the Note will update to reflect the change.

I wish SW programmers put more attention on slots. Life can be easier if they see the world from a designer point of view, not a programmer.
