    Into the Sunset...

    Richard Doyle

      Hi Everyone,

Some of you have heard, and some of you were privy to the fact that I am leaving SOLIDWORKS on December 14th. Someone will be taking over the moderation duties soon.

It's been a genuine pleasure interacting with you forum folks. I did my best to be a good moderator, and I hope you have been mostly satisfied with the work I've done. Please be as kind to my replacement as you have been to me.

I'm not sure what I will be doing in my "semi-retirement", but I will always be a part of the SOLIDWORKS Community, and I will be active in the forums - I just won't have that employee badge .

My best to all of you and cheers!

Boy, first Willke and now Richard. Will SolidWorks be able to continue operation?

It has been good Richard. We have appreciated your assistance. Enjoy the next stage of your life.

Maybe you need to suggest Todd Blacksher for your replacement.

For sure you will be missed.. I suppose we all get to that point in life.. Let me warn you though.. Retirement is not all that it is cracked up to be.. I'm still going crazy and trying to cope. Not doing a very good job of it.

Edit:... I wanted to add that I will never forget the conversations we have had.. Particularly at SWW2017? and in Sacramento probably 8 years ago.. You are something special. Thank you for your hard work, and enthusiasm. You certainly have left a positive impression on all of us.

As a retiree of SolidWorks Corp. do you get a Lifetime free full access to SW Worlds?  I hope so. You wouldn't want to break your attendance streak.

Then we can all see you there also.
