IS THERE A GROUP MENU BUG IN 2018 SP3?

I feel like I'm going insane...but I use SW 10 hours a day so that is usual. I have one of those particular installations that never does the same thing twice.

I want to Group a Flag Note Balloon to other notes, dimensions, etc.

I have successfully done that on Sheet 3 on the top Radius call-out of R 2.06, however, I cannot do it on the other radius or notes on the drawing.

I checked the menu customization, all things are checked.

Can you only group 1 thing? Why does Group appear in one menu and not another? Someone, please tell me what is going on.

For annotations, there should also be a Attach to View RMB command.

You can only group annotations that belong to the same view.

Try moving the view around on the sheet. Do all the things you want to group move also? If not, you won't be able to group them. You'll have to make them all "belong" to the same view. You can do this by showing the leader, attaching the leader to something in the view, and then turning the leader back off.

Just for my own curiosity, do you know when that was added? It's been.... a while since I figured out why (after some similar head-banging as Dave above) my annotations wouldn't group. I don't remember seeing that option then.

When a revision symbol is added to a "drawing view", applying the "group" to the symbol and a dimension (effected by the change) is not possible if the dimension is an "ordinate" style. The "group" operation works with leader dimensions, linear dimensions and notes, but not with ordinate dimensions. Can this be addressed? Do I have to submit a feature enhancement?
