Hello Lewis, the answer is a definite yes but there are requirements to be aware of.
First is that it will need to be a Windows tablet running a full Microsoft OS (I highly suggest Windows 10). The Microsoft Surface Pro tablets are well suited for the task, however you need to make sure there is enough RAM and GPU power (at least an HD520 integrated GPU as Dirk mentioned) in the tablet to run Composer Player smoothly, which shouldn't be a problem with a "Pro" tier tablet. I tried this a while ago with a base model Surface tablet with 2GB of RAM with a low-end integrated gpu and it was barely usable.
Composer and Composer Player don't quite require the same level of hardware performance as SOLIDWORKS, but I always suggest choosing a system that also meets the SOLIDWORKS' minimum requirements to be safe. So, a Surface Pro tablet should do the job. I'm fairly confident in this answer, but perhaps others have found another solution. You may be able to get away with a previous generation model, but I have not tested it. It would also depend on complexity of the model since that has a direct impact on performance.
Hope this helps!
