I recently had to change computers and start with a fresh installation of Composer. Now every time I move anything in the viewport it automatically creates a new view. I don't want this. I know there is away to turn this feature off, because I had is disabled on my old computer, but I can't find it.
Okay, I figured it out. The option is only available as a prompt. I guess I had inadvertently checked the wrong option and told it to quit bothering me. I had to reset the prompts from the Application Prefs to get it to prompt me again. Why, oh why is this not an option in the View panel or somewhere in the document properties or anywhere that it could be set as a preference?
Anyway, thought I'd post the solution just in case someone else comes here looking for this problem.
