Connector names in SWE

We are trying to implement SWE and are having a fundamental struggle that I hope someone can help with.

If I have a circuit, and I drop a connector on to the wires (dynamic connector hypothetically), I want one half of the connector to be labeled CF1 and the other half CM1. Essentially keeping the female and male halves of the connectors always numbered the same. The female connector 1, always goes with the male connector 1.

Is this feasible? IF so, can someone point me in the right direction on how to achieve this.

One method would be to create a connector component, but not have any part numbers assigned to it. Name it C1, or C# whatever. Right click on the component, and click create connector. Manually name the first connector M. Right click on the C1 component again and click create connector and manually name the second connector F. Final result will be -C1-M and -C1-F. Whenever you want to use connector, if you copy and paste special those connectors (control+shift+v), and tell it to create a new connector, then it will result in this:

  Thank you, this looks like what I am trying to achieve. However we are VERY new to SWE. Is it possible that you could provide a little more detail on creating it. Not to be a pain, but please be careful / specific on whether I am inserting a "symbol:" or "connector" etc.....
  
  I tried following what you wrote........I inserted a symbol but I do not see "create connector" when I right mouse click. So I feel like we are missing something.

    To create a new component without any symbols placed for it, go to the component tree, right click the location you wish it to be in, select new connector. Name it C1, and hit okay.
    
    Then find your new connector component C1, and right click it, and select new connector. This creates a sub component within C1.
    
    Select manual for mark mode, and name it M.
    
    You can assign whatever manufacturer part you want to it, and insert the symbols in whatever method you usually do.

- You can refer to the following two methods,i hope it was useful to you.
1. Create a new component that combines the male and female pin and then groups the respective circuits.This part can be used to add dynamic connectors.
2. Create a super part that adds separate male and female pin, and the circuits of the individual sockets are grouped accordingly.However, this super part cannot add symbols in the way of dynamic connectors.
