What would be the proper way to specify the level of the different areas?

Hello dear Solidworks Colleges.

I have a complex part with different slight embosses and reliefs allover the face and I need to specify in a drawing the level or the thickness corresponding to every area.

The way I'm doing it now is by making several section views that cut by where the slight indentation and embosses are and then with detail views to show to enlarge the thin reliefs to dimension them. That is making a mess in my drawing. I've seen that on similar cases engineers place letters over the areas in the front view and then specify the depth of each area, but I don't know the more specific details and how to make it according to the ISO standard.

I share in this post a picture addressing a simpler part but that also pictures the same trouble I'm in. Could you please help me out with this?

Thank you very much.example to dimension slight embosses.PNG
