In the features my Swept Boss/Base is not working. Actually sometimes it worked but sometime not. I don't know why? Will you please help me to sort out the problem.
It's really hard to tell from just the image, but two things I noticed.
1) The icon you've circled looks to me like the 'revolve' icon?
2) Maybe it's my eyesight, but your circle sketch doesn't look like it's on the right plane (to the helix) to be able to be used as a sweep profile. Having said that, you don't really need a circular sketch to do a round sweep along the helix, just select circular profile in the sweep property manager............
Can you attach your part?
Actually in SW 2015 it is a swept boss/base.
Create workplane perpendicular to the start of the Helix.
Create circle sketch fully constrained to the start of the Helix.
Are you a student?
Yea I am student and beginner to use SW. Sometime have small problems like this.
In addition to Mr. Bear's reply, the circle diameter is large relative to the helix pitch.
This will generate self-intersecting geometry. SolidWorks permits this, but why?
I believe it is a Sweep icon, but from a previous SW vintage. My SW2018 is this:
But the 180° icon looks familiar.

Please, call me Dave.
Yeah, the icon he's showing just looked very close to the current 'Revolved/Boss Base' but in reverse.
I'm not really savvy on what any of the older icons may have been.
I'm in SW2015 now and that's the sweep boss/base icon
This is very simple, he's still in the sketch3 and just needs to get out and the icon will appear properly and he'll be able to select it.
Which version of SW are you using? The icon you have shown is SW 2015 and below.
Some rules below (SW2015) for the Sweep feature
Sweep creates a base, boss, cut, or surface by moving a profile (section) along a path, according to these rules:
Can be found here -
2015 SOLIDWORKS Help - Sweeps
and all the way back here - 2012 SOLIDWORKS Help - Sweep Overview
Looking at your image it looks like, as pointed out by Kevin, the result will be self-intersecting. This is not possible in the older versions of SW.
It also looks as if your sketch plane maybe off, as mentions by Dave.
Try to setup your sketch as shown below.
Hope this helps in some way.

Can you ask your instructor to join this discussion?
And you are still editing the Sketch3... You have to leave / close the Sketch first. Afterwards SWX will find the 2 Sketches/Curves.
But yes: The circle seems to be not perpendicular and to large...
Given the nature of the question here, and the new one you just posted which is Sketch of a Model, I have to ask if you have done any of the tutorials that are built into your SolidWorks software? You will learn a great deal by doing them and very quickly.
Get out of the sketch3 and then it'll work.
