Is it possible to import human profile? For example in order to draw an assembly station with operators. Thanks
There are dummies that you can download from sites such ad 3DContentcentral. If you want to make movement studies with that ''human profile'' then I suggest drawing it yourself from scratch.
With SolidWorks, anything is possible.
May want to find a place to 3D scan a body (it's probably preferable to be alive), then you can import as needed.
If you want a specific person, there is this company that is specializing on full 3D scans and prints of real people - https://me3dstore.com/ ... and I just saw the Out Of Busniess notice on their site. Ah well, maybe another one will try.
I use the two that are attached. The are not able to be manipulated. They are just imported surfaces from somewhere I don't remember years ago, which makes the file size small, but I use them sometimes for reference or if I am doing workbench layouts and need to get a feel for how far of a reach something is. It may have been 3DcontentCentral. They are based on the overall average human height which i think is 5'5"-5'6", with one of them in a wheelchair if you have to worry about ADA stuff.
Here's a really nice, flexible model. Not sure where I got it. You can move all joints to make it bend, stand, etc.
I hope this helps.
I missed iMike.

Depending on your exact need, the best CAD Humans are:
Human models for Solidworks and other CAD Software
it is easy if you can get an MRI scan of the person, saved to the right file type.
I have 2
Another Choice. You can move joints.
