Hey guys,
I've been trying to make this part and mill it out using SolidCAM but am having a hard time setting a tool path for the mill. I'm pretty new to SolidCAM (and CNC tooling in general), so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, the material being used is going to be MDF.

Please take a look at the following video. Multi-Surface Feature Example - YouTube We do not have 3 axis machining routines in SOLIDWORKS CAM 2018 & 2019. You can use the Multi-surface features to machine a contour using multi-surface features. Depending on the step over, tool and feeds and speeds you may be able to get the finish you are looking for depending on what shape you have.

Dawson, I have not used SolidCAM before but in lieu of tech support which would be my first recommendation (I understand a lot of companies simply don't keep up the "maintenance" side of things and don't have tech support available, we are one of them) I'd recommend hitting up a SolidCAM Forum if one exists. Worst case if you cannot find one specific to SolidCAM I have in the past used the CNC Zone Forum for some tips/tricks, guidance and alike. Good luck ...
