      Robert Pereira - Regional Sales Manager - SigmaTEK Systems

      Session Title: SOLIDWORKS Sheetmetal Tips, Tricks and taking your design into production.

      This session will look at handy tips when designing Sheetmetal parts.  We will look at parametric modelling of Sheetmetal by making use of a multibody ghost part. We will take a SOLIDWORKS assembly into the production environment with CAM software. Quoting, nesting, cutting your parts.

      Bio:

      Studied Mechanical Engineering at the Vaal University of Technology in South Africa as well as Project management at the University of South Africa. Has built a career in various Engineering companies ranging from heavy engineering and mining equipment through to high precision engineering in the motorsport (Transmission systems) industry. Has have spent 20 years at SOLIDWORKS VAR (Mecad systems - South Africa) where he headed a team of 25 Application and Sales Engineers.  Is a Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert, Certified PDM Professional and Certified PDM Administrator. Until recently before leaving a VAR, he was a Certified SOLIDWORKS Support technician and trainer. He joined SigmaTEK 6 Months ago when he moved to Australia.

      We can finish the year by taking a look at SOLIDWRORKS 2019. I’ll take a look at a few of the new features and enhancements with the 2019 release. Especially a few of the small enhancement which will give the most productivity.
