We have been troubleshooting this for a couple of days with our IT. Sometimes members of our team work remotely, however we do not always need SW so we share the license, passing it back and forth. Thus, people need to be able to check out the license while remote (checking it out permanently before leaving the office isn't an option).
We've opened up the port on the Verizon FiOS network and can "ping it," but are stuck from there on getting a license checked out. Any help?
We use SolidNetWorks license manager on each of our machines, and have a server computer in the office connected with the same network that hosts the license.
