So it has been really been a thorn in my side not being able
to do decals in Photoview. ARGH!!!!!!
Here is a "work around" that I've found until the Luxology guys come out with the new version.
If you add the decal to Photoworks as a material, you can map it to the surface in a similar fashion as if it were a decal. Now in terms of some of the lil extra tid bits that decals may have over a material, that remains to be truly tested and maybe you guys might have some things to add on top of this.

Good tip Arthur, unfortunately it tiles automatically and unless you're applying a square decal to a square face it will be hard to hide the tiling. Also the other killer is that you can not assign transparency to the material (decal) so in the instance of screen printing a logo on some plastic,it will always have to have a square background.
