Hello,

Is there an add-in for Solidworks for standard sheet metal parts (lobsters, cones, rect to rounds, trouser pieces etc).

Obvioulsy I can model such items (which I do), but a rectangle to round does not work correctly - the flat pattern is not right.

Radan, Lantek and Sigmanest all contain standard part development. And Amada do a Solidworks based Cad/Cam system that also includes this. Also there is a program called Plate n' Sheet.

Is there a Solidworks add-in?

Also Rhino contains a command - Unroll Developed Surface - is there such a command in Solidworks (or an add-in).

Any information would be useful.
