If you're cutting back to the bend then I'd recommend ending all three sides to the length of the top portion.
Then add a tab and mirror. Or if each side flange extension is a different profile, create two tabs.

I removed all of the dimensions and coincident constraints to try and find the problem, but the part still cuts in a way that is not like the sketch.

I posted a reply earlier but I realized it wasn't correct.
Turns out it's very simple. Just uncheck Normal cut.
