Is anyone out there using 3D electrical and getting it to work?
Can you be a little more specific what you're looking for? Are you assessing the software? Are you a new user and wanting to get it working properly?
The 3D portion counts on a properly built schematic before anything else can happen, so always be sure you:
In the schematic:
Have parts assigned to your components, and symbols placed
Wires defined (color, size ensure routing is accurate)
Wires connected where they need to be
Cables added and properly associated to conductors
Parts with connection points mapped to match your library part (3d wizard)
Assembly built (or associated) from your locations with components from those locations placed in the 3D space
A valid routing path (3d sketch route)
Routing parameters during wire/cable/harness routing that allow the sketch route to "see" both ends of the wire's intended route
