I want to change file state using Dispatch conditions.
But I couldn't able to find any condition in Dispatch to do this?
Is it possible to do?
‘Change State’ is not a currently available function for Dispatch.
Maybe the ‘Shell Execute’ command? But that would be alot of work.
Better off to have Dispatch create a variable value, that must be added but can be hidden on data card. Then use automatic transitions with a condition based on the variable Dispatch created.
Thanks a lot. Is it possible to make a condition like one variable is equal to another one? instead of compare with values?
Here would be the command line to use if you choose "Shell Execute". Change the text "TargetStateName" to the name of the state you want to change the file to....
PowerShell.exe "$vault = New-Object -COMObject ConisioLib.EdmVault;$vault.LoginAuto('%NameOfCurrentVault%',0);$folder=$vault.RootFolder;$file = $vault.GetFileFromPath('%PathToSelectedFile%',[ref]$folder);$file.ChangeState('TargetStateName',$folder.id,'State changed by Dispatch',0,0)"
I want to compare 2 variable is condition tab. Is it possible to do?
