We're heading out west for our next meeting so load up the wagons. Eddie Hawkins has graciously offered Bettcher Industries for our next meeting which happens to coincide with the “SOLIDWORKS Largest User Group Meeting Ever”. Bettcher Industries is a leading developer and manufacturer of innovative precision cutting and trimming tools for the food processing and industrial manufacturing sectors. Bettcher also manufactures food preparation equipment for restaurants and commercial kitchens in the foodservice industry. With global reach in over 70 countries, Bettcher is a distinguished member of the Northeast Ohio manufacturing community with decades of investment in our local communities, charities, and the lives of their employee-owners. For this meeting, you can look forward to a tour of the facility. Non-disclosure agreements are required and will be made available to sign at Bettcher Industries on the day of the meeting.

 

After the tours, we will once again take part in the annual SLUGME event which will start at 8:00pm EST. This year’s presenter will be Neil Custard. Neil has used SOLIDWORKS since its beginnings in 1996 and is one of the fastest 3D modelers on the planet having earned first place in the SOLIDWORKS World 2012 Model Mania contest in San Diego, CA. as well as placing second in 2008 and third in 2010. He owns and runs CADXpand.com (formerly SolidWorksTips.com since 1999) that has helped millions of users over its time. Neil will present “SOLIDWORKS Tips and Tricks you need to know – SLUGME Edition”

 

Keep in mind that Route 60 will be closed from Route 2 heading south.
